At this screen you may select cleaning tasks to be included in the routine cleaning procedure. Check or uncheck appropriate checkboxes to do this. All selected tasks will be shown at the progress screen.

Stop running programs - all running programs will be stopped and unloaded from memory. This first step allows the resolution of some potential file sharing problems.

Windows Temp folder - default Windows temporary folder \Temp.

My temporary folder 1 and 2 - any two additional folders of your choice.

IE cache - Internet Explorer cache folders. \Windows\Temporary Internet Files and \Windows\Profiles\guest\Temporary Internet Files.

IE history folder - Internet Explorer history folders. \Windows\History and \Windows\Profiles\guest\History.

IE addresses history (registry) - Internet Explorer addresses history. This information is stored in system registry at HKLM\Explorer\AddressHistory\.

IE cookies - Internet Explorer cookies. \Windows\Cookies and \Windows\Profiles\guest\Cookies.

Dead registry keys - when you install/uninstall any application on your Pocket PC, the system registry at HKLM\SOFTWARE\Apps\ system keeps history of every application. Space Reclaimertm will check out whether applications are still installed on your Pocket PC and delete all obsolete records. If an application was originally installed at location other then \Program Files i.e. storage card, Space Reclaimertm will not delete these records.

Dead AppManager files - Application Manager cache folder \Windows\AppMgr. Space Reclaimertm deletes only files which belong to uninstalled applications (see option above).

Dead shortcuts - Space Reclaimertm will scan folders \Windows\Start Menu and \Windows\StartUp including all their subfolders for bad shortcuts. If a shortcut points to any program at \Program Files and the program is not found, the shortcut will be deleted.

Note: Real folder names and locations may be different for varying versions of Windows.
